Eligibility Criteria & Admission Process

Candidates seeking admission to Dhaka National Medical College must ensure that they meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Candidate age should be 17 to 25 years or earlier than the date of admission.
  • Applicants must have secured at least 60% marks in all subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) in class 10th and 12th and 50% marks if they belong to the reservation category.
  • Applicants need to pass the NEET exam.
  • Candidates must have completed high school education in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as major subjects.

Below is the admission process that students must follow in order to gain admission:

Step 1: Students must fill in the application form available on the college’s website.

Step 2: Then, the applicant should send the completed application form along with copies of the documents required to get the student status.

Required documents are:

  • 10th and 12th Scorecards
  • NEET scorecard
  • Passport size photographs
  • Copy of Passport 
  • Letters of recommendation from the school
  • Immigration letter from the medical board
  • Medical Board Certificate
  • Non-criminal certificate
  • Invitation letter from college

Step 3: Upon receipt of the student application, the university sends an invitation letter.

Step 4: Candidates must first pay the initial tuition fee after receiving an invitation letter. Students then receive a fee receipt from the university.

Step 5: Candidates must then meet the procedures required to issue student visas.
